Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
The post graduate course of specialisation in a field
of practise has commenced this year at TAFE and is likely to be offered by other
organisations. It is a full fee paying course.
Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
This is the next step from the previous certificate IV
course that most have currented trained as. This is direct entry only for those wishing to
train as Enrolled Nurses.
The main difference with the Diploma and certificate IV apart from enhanced modules of
learning and depth of the program is this course is only for full fee paying applicants
wishing to train as enrolled nurses
EN Medication Management Course
The College of Nursing offer this course for around
$800 standard or $1200 if a CON workplace clinical assessor is required. Applicants for
this course will need to be Certificate 4 or equivalent. The full brochure is available to

TAFE Combined Medication administration and Certificate
IV conversion is around $1200 but scholarships are available for this program from a
variety of sources such as the Nurses and Midwives Board, Health Department and NSW Nurses
Association.
