Medication Administration
- Statement of Attainment
This popular course is a post enrolment
course accredited by the Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW. The
purpose of the course is to prepare the enrolled nurse to extend
their scope of practice to include medication administration
(excluding Schedule 8 medications).
The
course, which is conducted over 3 months part time, consists of both
theoretical and clinical components. Full details of the course are
attached. The clinical component requires the enrolled nurse to
undertake a 40 hour supernumerary clinical placement in a facility
approved by the College of Nursing.
The
dates for course 39 are as follows:
Tuesday
10, 17, 24 and 31 August 2010
Tuesday
7 and 14 September 2010
Followed
by 40 hours of supernumerary clinical placement to be completed by
29 October 2010.

Health funded positions may be available. For further information
